Sarah is survived by her parents Chad and Angie Aduddell, her sisters, Abby, Haley, and Alexis, her great grandmother Marian Aduddell, her grandparents Jim and Jan Aduddell and Vernon and Kathy Crabtree, as well as her extended family. Sarah emanated compassion and loved her family, her friends, and many others who touched her life on a daily basis.
Sarah had many loves in life including movies, The Lord of the Rings, Disney, books, movies, music, singing, Audrey Hepburn, vintage clothing, horseback riding, traveling, soccer, and her dog Daisy. Sarah was very creative and loved to draw, paint, and make crafts. Sarah was also deeply spiritual and sought meaning in everything she did and with everyone that she knew. Sarah battled mental health challenges for the past 8 years and carried a heavy burden. Through it all, she sought God and spoke with Him often as she chronicled in her journal. Our hope is that Sarah’s story and journey serve a greater purpose for His glory just as she did in life.
One of her favorite quotes: “I know. It's all wrong. By rights we shouldn't even be here. But we are. It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end. Because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back, only they didn't. They kept going. Because they were holding on to something.” ― Samwise Gamgee - The Lord of the Rings, JRR Tolkien
