She was born to Ernest and Louise (Reis) Vickerman. Being the only daughter of six children, she worked by her mother’s side learning family values from an early age. After marrying her true love, George “Red” Hall, in 1945, they had two sons, Jerry and Tom, and devoted their lives to the ranches they worked in Colorado. In 1994, they retired at the J and V Diller Ranch in Deer Trail, CO, and then moved to Oklahoma in 2010 to be close to their family.
Ruby loved serving others and she leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Jerry and wife Pam (Arvada, CO) and Tom and wife Karen (Edmond, OK), seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many friends who were blessed by her.
After being married for 67 years, Ruby was predeceased by her husband, parents, five brothers Sam, Bill, George, Les and Bob, daughter-in-law Leah Beth Hall, and granddaughter Heather Hall.

In celebration of her life, a memorial was held in the Chapel of Baggerley Funeral Home, Oklahoma City, OK, at 11:00 am, Friday, June 29, 2018; and a graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, July 20, 2018, Rosita Cemetery, Westcliffe, CO, with a reception to follow at the Lamp Post Lodge.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm, Thursday, July 19, at the Lamp Post Lodge, Westcliffe, CO.
