Robert J. Dinger of Edmond, Oklahoma was called home to the Lord on July 28, surrounded by his family. Born April 23, 1950 in Utica, NY, he was the son of Robert J. Dinger and Alice Cleveland and step-father, Alan Cleveland. He served proudly with the 11th Cavalry in Vietnam and Cambodia in 1968-69, and later graduated from UCO in 1977. He was retired mineral lease broker, a businessman, and always a free thinker. He loved spending summers at Lake Moraine, NY, the ocean and seafaring talks, Harley Davidson motorcycles, tinkering with electronics, and most of all his children and grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife, Melissa Ryan; daughter, Raina Dinger; granddaughters, Gabrielle and Serena Dinger; daughter, Julie Dinger-Blanton; grandchildren, Cate and Eddie Blanton; son, Robert John Dinger III; grandchildren, Ari and Lilly Dinger; daughter, Alice Dinger.
