Rex grew up working on the family farm in Con 8. In the early ‘60’s, he moved to Kingfisher, OK, and then later to Edmond, OK.
Rex met Wanda Teems at the Cordell Dance. They married in 1963. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Rex worked as a milkman for over 40 years.
Rex was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: C.H. (Carl Herman), Dweight, Truman, Major, and Alfred. He is survived by his wife, Wanda; children: Ganel Sykes and husband David, Barbara Meier and husband Mark, Myma Becker, and Brian McClure; grandchildren: Shannon Strawhun, Geoffrey Tabor, Nathan Becker, Amber Martin, and Kenny Barton and wife Devon; great-grandchildren: Skylar Strawhun, Alexsis Long, Gabby Martin, Darien Long, Olivia Barton, and Violet Barton; 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Carol Hammond and Marlene Henins; and many other family members and friends.
