His dedication to his craft was evident in his daily routine, as he approached each day with a sense of purpose and eagerness to delve into his pursuits.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Paul found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a profound love for music of nearly every genre, but finding the most enjoyment in the songs of his rebellious teens and early 20’s. Additionally, Paul cultivated a deep connection with the land. Working on farms from a very young age ultimately led him to owning his own plot of land and a herd of longhorn cattle. He always found peace and fulfillment in the outdoors, whether that meant flying thousands of miles to fish remote waters in Canada, tending his cattle, or sitting on the back porch enjoying a quiet evening with his family.
Above all else, Paul held his family in the highest regard. His perfect day would undoubtedly involve quality time spent with his loved ones, never thinking twice about making time for his children and their various activities. His devotion to his wife, Rae, whom he married on September 26, 1981, and his children, Christopher, Daniel, and Amanda, was unwavering and steadfast.

Always ready with a friendly smile and a quip, he had a rare gift for making everyone feel welcomed and accepted, regardless of their background or circumstances. His involvement in the Knights of Columbus, where he held leadership roles including Grand Knight and Faithful Navigator, reflected his commitment to service and community. In addition to his professional achievements and community involvement, Paul also had a playful side, evidenced by his role as President of the Antique Tractor Club in Cashion.
