Michael Darrell Mills

At 17, Mike joined the Army and eventually settled in Edmond, Oklahoma, where he married on March 1, 1979. He enjoyed more than 30 years working for the Edmond Public Schools. Mike enjoyed riding his motorcycles, especially his Harley, Honda Cub, and Yamaha sport bike. He was devoted to his family, especially his grandchildren, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his two daughters, Shannon (Mark) Baza of Oklahoma City, and Hannah (David) Irving of Edmond, OK, as well as five grandchildren: Adrianna Baza, Jordan Baza, Avery Irving, David Irving, and Carter Irving. Mike also leaves behind siblings Randel (Donna) Mills, Linda Nicholes, and Theresa Cole and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Ruth Mills, his beloved wife, LynnEtta Mills, and his granddaughter, Brianna Baza.

A visitation for Michael will be held Friday, May 12, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Baggerley Funeral Home, 930 South Broadway, Edmond, OK 73034, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM.
