Leta was born on March 2, 1942 in Whitesboro, Texas to Andrew Leo and Geneva Gertrude Miller. She was married to Billy Eugene Sutton for 41 years. They were longtime residents of Edmond, Oklahoma where they owned a thrift store for many years. Leta believed her family always came first and she would always give a helping hand when others were in need. Leta was a loving wife, mother, and friend; she will be greatly missed.
Leta is survived by her sons, James Leo Sutton of Edmond and Thomas Edward Sutton and wife Diana of Edmond; step-daughter, Jeannie Lutton of Grove, OK; brother, Clyde Miller; sister, Juanita Stanley; grandchildren, Joseph Samuel Sutton, Kandice Lynnette Sutton, Billy Lynn Sutton and wife Liz, Shannon Renee Holman and husband Bryon, Julie Lynn Jones and husband Joshua; great-grandchildren, Rylenn Grace Sutton, Bradley Lynn Sutton, Savannah Lynn Sutton, Ava Lynn Kay Sutton, Cicely Holman, Vance Brown, and Evan Michael Jones; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Eugene Sutton; her parents; brother, Leo Miller; sisters, Carolyn Campbell, Shirley Burton, Lucille Timmons, Vera Lee Haney, and Mary Ann Busby.
