LeRoy was born August 8, 1933 to Harry and Grace (Engsberg) Maxwell in Baraboo, WI.
LeRoy grew up in Gotham, WI, graduating high school. After school LeRoy enlisted in the Air Force, and from there went to work for American Airlines in Tulsa, OK. There he met the love of his life Beverly Ann Thompson.
LeRoy had a love for country music and the color purple. His perfect day would be outside building and creating new structures. But his favorite pastime was sharing fun memories, like tipping the outhouses with his friends in high school. You could always learn kindness, love, care and patience from LeRoy. The most important people in his life were Beverly who preceded him in death in 1995, and his daughter, LeAnn.
Family who also preceded him in death, brother Harry and wife Tommie Maxwell of Texas, sisters Leah and husband Eldger Ruda of Sauk City, WI, Ada Mae Maxwell of WI, and two brother in laws Kem Pellett and Perl Fischer, and grandson Kyle Tucker.
Leroy is survived by his daughter LeAnn and husband Jeff Tucker of Edmond, OK, and two sisters Jackie Pellett of Bloomer, WI, and Betty Fischer of Sussex, WI. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.baggerley.com for the Maxwell family.
