Khan Khela Majid

Mrs. Khan Khela Majid, passed away on June 1, 2013. Mrs. Majid was a dedicated medical professional, loving mother and wife. She is survived by her children, Judy Jaleela Smith, her husband Peter; Johnathan Jaleel Majid; Joanna Majid Maxwell, her husband Tom; Juliana Shazia Smedlund, her husband Eric; and Jasmine Avis Majid, her husband Blake Chisam; ten grandchildren (Jason, Jeremy, Joshua, Ashish, Emily, Trisha, Jessica, Jennifer, Juliette and Jorj); and six great grand children (Jade, Jamie, Riley, Ethan, Jacob and Zelda). She was preceded in death by her husband John Abdul Majid. She was the strength of her family and her community. Her kindness and generous nature propelled her to share her religious testimony bravely at home and throughout the world. Even until her last days, she prayed with her friends, family and fellow residents to comfort and console them. Her radiance, expressed through her smile, confirmed the love she had for life and all people. Our beautiful mother will be remembered for teaching us all the love of nature, integrity, the strength to believe in our highest potential, and the unconditional love to help others in their times of need. She embraced the love of God and taught each of us to build our personal and intimate relations with God. Visitation will be from 12pm to 8pm Wednesday June 5th, and 9am to 8pm June the 6th at Baggerley Funeral Home. The funeral service and reception will be held St. Mary’s Episcopal Church located at 325 First Street, Edmond, OK 73034 on June 7, 2013 at 10:30am followed by a committal service at Memorial Park Cemetery.
