I found out my best friend @ Placerita Jr. High in Newhall, CA, & Hart High School, 1974-76, Karen Connick, passed away in 2013. We were so close, had so much clean fun, & had children in the same years. I last saw Karen in 1978 in Saugus, CA, where she & her then- husband, Dan, came over for dinner with the children. Afterwards, we lost contact, as Karen moved far away. I always thought of her & missed her throughout the years. I missed her parents dearly, too. 
I have no words to express how much Karen's presence in my life for 7 years made such a positive impact. All I can say is that I loved my friend dearly & am so sorry that I wasn't online @ the time to pull her up & make immediate contact. There will never ever be another Karen. Miss you & see you VERY SOON in heaven!

Karen meant the world 2 me & I wish Tammy or her sons would contact me to let me know how she passed. We were the best of friends in our teens & throughout high school, also shortly thereafter. My heart goes out 2 all that loved her!

May you be blessed with God's presence @ this time of year; I'm so sorry for your loss. Is there anything I can do?

Karen was a very special person - she delivered donuts to our church (Waterloo Road Baptist) on Sundays and she was always a bright spot and blessing to all who met her.  She will be missed.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

Karen, you will always be in our hearts. You will be missed so very much...you had the kindest, most loving heart. I loved going down 'memory lane' looking at your photo album.

God blessed us with this very special Lady. Karen, gave so much of her heart to all of us. She showed her love to everyone she came in contact with. She was there to hear your problems and to help if she could. What a very special gift we had knowing this special person. She is now having a great time with new people and the ones she has missed. Have fun Karen.  We love you and will think of you always.

Karen, you will be missed by all those you have touched here.  You were always ready to lend an ear to the hurting, you gave your love  to all those you  you met. Your life had so much purpose and you gave all of yourself to others. I will miss you.

Karen, you will be missed so much by all the people you came across on the journey you walked here. you gave a lot of people hope and love. You never asked anything in return and loved us all. Now you are in Heaven having the time of your (heavenly )life. Say lots of prayers for all of us still here. You will be missed.

Karen you were a special part of my daily life as I'd come in to daylight donuts for a cup of coffee most mornings and  and you would tease me about being a Jazzercise instructor and not eating donuts! I liked that you called me sweetie and always had a friendly cheerful word or a funny story to tell. You spoke of your family, your kids and your grandkids with such humor and love. You teased me and my own teen-aged daughter about the time she came in to get a donut and I told her this was a rare and special treat and then I, without thinking, turned to you and said "I'll have my usual." You noticed our Jazzercise customers and their kids come and go across the parking lot and I'm not sure they knew were keeping a loving eye out for them. You certainly knew all of your customers and their pets and kept little "doggie treats" for when they came through the drive through with their dogs in the back seat. I will miss you so much.

MAY GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERYONE IN THIS TIME OF SORROW. I've known Karen since 1984. She was a very great woman.We have shared some hard times and good ones.I will miss her.

Karen what a wonderful friend you were I just found out today. I know you knew how much I loved you, you were such a special person to me always listening to my stories about my mother. I'll never forget the day I told you the story about losing my mom to breast cancer, we shed a few tears together and you gave me the biggest hug ever. That meant so much to me you left the store and within an hour you were back with the most beautiful cancer bracelet ever. You told me wear it with pride and think of your momma my eyes filled up with tears, but you told me then we had a very special bond that would ties us together forever. Now your in Heaven with my mom and telling her about our talks so my friend may you sleep with the Angels and rise with the Saints. You will be truly missed by all your Wal-mart Neighborhood market friends.

Aunt Karen was a wonderful women. She reminds me so much of Grannie Trammell. She was friendly to everyone and made a friend anywhere she went. She will forever live in our hearts and we look forward to the day we see her again in Heaven. We love you Aunt K.
