Harold was born in Loveland, Oklahoma to Mart and Faye Cuddeback and spent much of his life in Oklahoma except for his time spent serving his country in the United States Navy as an Airman until he was honorably discharged in 1955. Shortly thereafter he married the love of his life, Barbara Vernon Cuddeback of California.
Harold and Barbara eventually settled in Edmond, Oklahoma where they became active members of the church and community. They were faithful members of the Metropolitan Baptist Church since 1957 and they both served their church tirelessly. Their marriage was a loving one and was made to last for all of eternity. Harold loved his family dearly and both he and Barbara dedicated their lives to serving and caring for each other and their children; Leslie and Lori. Harold was a kind, loving and considerate person that touched the lives of all he encountered. He was the kind of person everyone loved to call a friend and he often created lasting friendships with those he met through his church and professional life.
Harold was an avid outdoorsman that thoroughly enjoyed hunting with his longtime friends, Larry and Chris. Harold also had a love for carpentry and crafted countless pieces of furniture throughout his life which he loved to share and gift to his friends and family. He was also the best of neighbors. To several individuals in his neighborhood of Little Timber, including longtime friend; Dick Woolbright. Harold was constant source of comfort, always willing to lend a helping hand to offer some words of advice, or a tool that he had invented lying around. Harold will be remembered for his wit, charm and considerate nature. Harold will be sorely missed by all those lucky enough to have had Harold touch their lives.
Harold was preceded in death by the love of his life Barbara and is survived by his son Leslie Cuddeback of Tulsa, Oklahoma; daughter Lori Cuddeback of Edmond, Oklahoma; his granddaughter Cassie Barnes (Luke) of Edmond, Oklahoma; his grandson Tyler Wagoner (Maggie) of Moore, Oklahoma; and his great granddaughter Scarlett of Moore, Oklahoma.
A come-and-go visitation for Harold will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Baggerley Funeral Home, 930 South Broadway, Edmond, OK 73034. A funeral service will occur on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the Baggerley Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13400 North Kelley, Oklahoma City, OK 73131.
