Elsie Mae Lewis, 95, of Edmond, OK, passed away on November 30, 2021 in Edmond. She was born on August 29, 1926 in Wellston, Oklahoma to Joseph and Anna (McLain) Smith and was the youngest of 9 Children.
Elsie graduated from Wellston High School in 1945. She lived most of her life in Edmond. She worked for the Department of Human Services in Oklahoma City as a secretary, where she retired after 30 years of service.
Elsie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to cook, do crossword puzzles, play Skip-Bo, Bingo, and other games with her grandkids, and was always generous and giving to her family.
Survivors include her two sons, Larry Lewis and wife Elizabeth and Alan Lewis, both of Edmond; five grandchildren: Crystal Mustard and husband Shane, Chesnie Park and husband Todd, Melissa Ritter and husband Jack, Emily Carrig, and Chloe Lewis; five great-grandchildren: Tabitha Ritter, Elissa Lewis, Noah Dougherty, Peyton Park, and Tatum Ritter; one great-great granddaughter, Rosalina Williams; niece, Jean Bailey; and great-nephew, Billy Bailey.
