Eldon H. Schuessler, 86, of Edmond, Oklahoma, died February 22, 2018, surrounded by his family and friends.
He was born October 8, 1931, in Newton, Kansas, the son of the late Emma and William Schuessler. He was the oldest of 3 siblings.
Eldon served in the U.S. Army as a military policeman. He graduated from The University of Wichita in 1960. He married Patricia Ann Martin on September 8, 1962.
After graduation he was employed by the U.S. Air Force as an industrial engineer for 34 years. He also recruited engineering graduates for the Department of Defense.
Eldon is survived by his wife Pat; daughter and son-in-law Jan and Wendell Winn; daughter Jamie LaFerr; grandchildren Devin and Karsten LaFerr and Korbi Wood; great granddaughter Rori LaFerr; and sister Mary Lou Williams. He was preceded in death by his brother Alvin Max Schuessler.
A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00am Wednesday, February 28 at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City, Oklahoma.
