CoraLea Becky Rebecca Reed Johnson

CoraLea Rebecca “Becky” (Reed) Johnson was born June 27, 1938 to Jesse “Pop” Reed and Elma Patterson Reed in Shattuck, Oklahoma. The sun rose on her heavenly life the morning of March 23, 2016. CoraLea was a gentle, kind, and loving soul with many facets to her quiet personality. She always desired the best for her family and friends and treated everyone with respect. Her smile could raise your spirits. Her wit was always surprising. CoraLea was trained as a secretary and worked in a variety of related positions (including being the secretary to the executive director of the WMU office in OKC in the early 60’s) until her retirement in 2006. During her life, she loved to play the piano, sing, crochet, and play games with her family and friends.

CoraLea is survived by her loving husband: John M Johnson Jr.; her children: John W and Jennifer Johnson, James “Jimmy” and Wendy Johnson, Tammy L Johnson; her grandchildren: Christopher and Saralynn Boren, J. Micheal Johnson Jr, Rebecca “Becca” Johnson, Aaron Pierce; her great-grandsons: Cylx and Gaitlin Boren; her siblings: Velda Hendricks, Jerry and LaDonna Reed; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be 5pm to 7pm, Saturday, at Baggerley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2pm, Monday, March 28, 2016, at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel 13313 N Kelley Ave, OKC, with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
