Charles Tom Thomas Anthony

Tom earned his Bachelors of Science in Physical Education from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK, and his Masters of Education from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. He worked as a history teacher and football coach. He also coached track and basketball and taught swimming and driver’s ed. He worked for various Oklahoma schools before retiring from Northwest Classen High School in Oklahoma City.

Tom was a Free Mason and member of Albert Pike and the Scottish Rite.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jerry Gene Anthony. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Ruby; children: Cindy Swanda, Todd Anthony, and Lorie Anthony; grandchildren: Vance Roberts, Valerie Garcia, Molly McMullin, McKenzie McMullin, Morgan Anthony, Spencer Anthony, Caleb Anthony, and Manda Macias; great-grandchildren: Laken Roberts, Reese Roberts, Michael Melott, Davis Radant, Braelyn Gutierrez, Bryson Abid, and Hadley Anderson; and many other family members and friends.

Viewing will be at Baggerley from 9am to 8pm, Tuesday. Funeral services will be 9am, Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at Baggerley with a graveside service to follow at 3pm at Barnsdall City Cemetery in Barnsdall, OK.
