An avid fan of the outdoors, Bryce enjoyed biking, fishing in the neighborhood pond, hunting with his dad, swimming at the beach, bird watching, and boating at the lake. He also loved spending time with his family, whether it was playing with his brothers, cooking with his dad, baking with his mom, or visiting with his many cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. He was a hands-on kind of kid, and this was clear in how much he was looking forward to playing football at school as well as the dedicated care he took of his dog, Ripley, and his gecko, Buddy. Regardless of what he was doing or who he was with, he loved to be silly and make people laugh, from twerking to singing in the bathtub to entertaining his younger cousins. Bryce’s passing is heavy with sorrow, but he will live on in all of the happy, joyful memories that he gave to everyone who knew and loved him.
Bryce is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ernesto Gonzalez.
He is survived by parents Christy and Ernie; brothers Aiden and Seth; paternal grandmother Magdalena Gonzalez; maternal grandparents James and Patricia Matthews; aunt Kimberly Matthews; uncle Tim Matthews; and the Garza, Pestow, and Shafer families.
A visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00pm, Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Baggerley Funeral Home, 930 S Broadway, Edmond. Funeral services will be at 10:00am, Monday, July 27, 2020 at the same location. A livestream link can be found for Bryce's service at https://www.facebook.com/Baggerley
