Billy Ray McEwen

Bill is preceded in death by his only son, Michael McEwen, father Woody McEwen, mother Grace (Haben) McEwen, sister Yvonne “Sissy” Lopp, nephew Larry Lopp, along with other extended family and friends. As he was always surrounded by loving family on earth, so will he be in Heaven.

Bill is survived by his best friend of 48 years, our mom, Joyce (Schonfield) McEwen of Edmond, OK, two daughters: Ashlea Joplin and son-in-law Shawn Gieger of Edmond, Oklahoma;

Karla McEwen and husband Subrato Deb of Edmond, OK, four granddaughters: Lauren Gieger of Tulsa, OK, Alexandra Gieger of Edmond, OK, Hannah Gourley and Stella Gourley of Edmond, OK; one grandson, Clayton McEwen of Edmond, OK; Brother and sisters-in-law, John and Carol McEwen of Jones OK, Brothers-in-law, Walter Lopp, of Jones OK , several nieces and nephews, and countless friends and family.

Bill was a graduate of Jones High School, class of 1955, attended Oklahoma State University, served in the National Guard, retired from two jobs and raised a loving family that will forever miss his wisdom, humor and love. Rest In Peace, Papa.
