Ashley and I played basketball together at redlands community college.  She was an amazing player, roommate, and friend. Although the communication was limited as we began establishing our own families throughout the years, i enjoyed seeing her adventures on Facebook.  I hated coming across the sad news the other day. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this time. I'm so very sorry. She will definately be missed.

Thank you for being part of the community that raised us, Mrs Henry. You will always live in our hearts and our memories. Your students will miss you. Sending my thoughts and condolences to Eli, Wyatt, Jace and Mr Henry during this difficult time.

For me, and for many of us, Ashley was, first and foremost, a beloved friend. We will remember her for her sense of humor, her devotion to her family, and her unrivaled energy. I will remember Ashley’s joyful, contagious laugh every time I think of her. Ashley was a talented artist and quilting was one of her mediums. Her talent, passion, and creativity were expressed beautifully through the quilts she eagerly designed and diligently fabricated. Ashley’s true love was her family, who were the bright lights in Ashley’s life.

This is so sad to hear but I know she is in a better place. This lady was was a dedicated teacher and was very awesome at it. She was my daughter's teacher when she taught at Millwood Public Schools.  I will continue to pray for this family. Although it never gets easy she is one of God's BEAUTIFUL Angels. Prayers for the family and friends.

I'm not sure I will ever have the words to express the depth of my love for Ashley.  She was the hardest-working person I have ever met.  She was always busy making something at Abqaiq School better.  There was nothing that Ashley ever did just "okay."  If she was going to do something, she was going to do it right and better than anyone had ever done before! I'm going to miss our daily text messages and pictures and videos of her garden, quilts, crafts, bulletin boards, classroom, office, and dogs.  We were often described as a "dynamic duo" and I loved every project that we ever worked on together.  

Ashley and I loved Dolly Parton.  The morning Ashley passed away, I was getting ready to head to the airport to fly out to see her the next day.  I had packed my Dolly shirt and was planning to enter her room with a portable speaker blasting our favorite Dolly song,  Jolene. Earlier that morning, I was actually sitting in bed wondering if the facility would be mad if I did that.  Just then, Tony texted me to let me know that she was gone. Then, Tony texted to say, “And you are never going to believe this but one of the two nurses on duty last night was named Jolene!” What are the chances of that, right?!  I believe this was a wink from God to let me know that He was going to take care of her and she was at peace. 

I'm sure she is up there in heaven making balloon arches and teaching everyone how to decorate or quilt or create something! Ashley was the best and I am a better person for having had her in my life.  Tony was an absolute rockstar through Ashley's entire illness.  He never left her side for a second.  

To Tony, Jace, Eli, and Wyatt...I'm so sad that you have to go on without your wife, mom, mentor, friend, and hero.   She was the best of the best and I'll miss her forever and always.

Ashley was a fighter and tenacious grinder.  Always positive, helpful and gracious, she was one of my favorite people I have ever worked with.  As a teacher and friend, there was no better.  As a mother and wife, she was loved and devoted.  She will be missed, but my memories and experiences were better because of her joy and thoughtfulness. She grounded those around her who needed a footing and lifted those who needed inspiration.  I am so sorry that she is gone.  It saddens me to see good people leave our lives early.  She left her mark on all of us.  I will never forget Asley and the family and community that she created.

My heart is broken for Tony, the boys and Mark and Vanessa. Ashley was such a wonderful niece whom I love and adore. Her smile was beautiful and she was always happy. Ashley left a memory in our family that will go on forever. Love you Ash

The world was such a better place having had Ashley for 44 years. She was a wonderful wife and mother, a phenomenal teacher and an artist that never ceased to amaze me. Ashley had such a generous heart and was always willing to share her incredible quilting talent.  I am so saddened by her passing, but know her memory will bring peace to all that knew her.

We are deeply saddened by Ashley’s passing. The tears are flowing.  Ashley was the type of person you connected with so easily the moment you met her. She was so kind, thoughtful, and just fun to be around. We are forever grateful that we will always be reminded of Ashley through her beautiful quilt she made for Laken. She was so talented!! We hope you are able to find peace and comfort as you celebrate and honor sweet Ashley. She had such a gentle spirit and fought so bravely to the end. We love you, and we are here for you!

Ashley, you will be sorely missed. You were an amazing teacher, but more than that you were such an amazing mom. There was nothing you would not have done for the good of your boys.
