Arthur “Art” Mason passed away Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011. He was born on May 16, 1935, one of 12 children to Homer and Wilhelmina Mason in OKC. He lived in St. Joseph’s Home in Bethany from age 2 until age 14, then from age 14 to 20 in Boys Town, Neb. After graduation, he entered the Air Force and proudly served for 21 years as a Security policeman. Following retirement from the Air Force, he worked for the Oklahoma Rendering Co. for 14 years. In 1960, he married the love of his life, Betty Oliver; they celebrated 51 years together. He is survived by his wife and 4 children; Maria, Steven, Patrick and Christopher. He was a proud grandfather to 9; Justin, Daniel, Rachel, Amanda, Alyssa, Alex, Lara, Juliette and Andrew. Graveside services will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond, Ok.
