EDMOND
Ann Marie Conley “Annie”, age 72, of Edmond, passed away October 2, 2011. She was born January 19, 1939 in Oklahoma City to Frank and Ramona (Bigham) King. Ann was a graduate of Oklahoma State University and worked in the family pharmacy for many years before becoming the owner/agent of Santa Fe Tag Agency in Edmond. On June 8, 1963, she married John Richard Conley. She had many accomplishments, which include but are certainly not limited to: the ability to navigate Dallas traffic driving a 28’ 1978 Winnebago pulling a loaded four horse trailer (pre GPS), birthday cake decorator and ice cream maker extraordinaire, master seamstress of matching shirts (and jeans), and the ability to be at several different places at once. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, John; daughter, Mona Sasser and husband Kyle; daughter, Katheryn Conley and husband Dale Branda; son, John Kirby Conley; daughter, Mimi Bilyeu and husband Mark; 7 grandchildren, Brian, Amy, Kirby, Chris, Jennifer, Weston and Kyndal and 6 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Dortha Jones and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Lindsey Sasser. Annie was a loving and dedicated Mother and Grandmother, evidenced by her family nickname “sweet momma”. She has been treasured by her family and will be truly and deeply missed.
The family will be available to greet friends during visitation at the funeral home, Thursday evening, Oct. 6th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Services to celebrate Annie will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 7, 2011 at the Baggerley Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made in her name to the Oklahoma Brain Tumor Foundation, 730 W Wilshire Blvd Ste 114, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Services entrusted to the care of Baggerley Funeral Home of Edmond, Oklahoma.
