She was born in Elkins, WV on July 1, 1922, a daughter to the late Ira and Ivy (McAlpine) Taylor. Pauline was a graduate of Elkins High School. She worked at a laborer at the Bendix Corporation until retirement in 1984. She was a New Life Assembly member and a Lifetime Member of the Lady’s Auxiliary group in Whiteford, MD.
She was a loving wife and mother; she enjoyed bake sales, crafts, gardening, and singing in the church choir. Pauline was also an active member of Life Geisinger in Dunmore.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband of 44 years Nicholas Rago, her brother Charles Taylor and two sons: Marvin Taylor and Harold Eugene Warner Jr.
Surviving is her loving daughter Elnora M. Warner of Scranton; stepdaughter Mary-Ann Salisbury of Minnesota ; stepsons Louis Warner of Bithlo, FL and Frank Rago of TN. She also leaves 19 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A special thanks goes out to Pauline’s caregivers at Lackawanna Health and Rehab. Center.
Private cremation occurred at H. G. Smith Crematory in Stroudsburg and interment will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home Inc. 27 Washington St. East Stroudsburg, where online condolences can be made at www.lantermanallenfh.com
