Kathleen Reinhardt

Kathy Reinhardt, 58, of East Stroudsburg passed away peacefully on May 23, 2017 at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was the loving wife of Robert with whom she shared over 28 years of marriage.

Born December 6, 1958, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Paul and the late Pat Schmid.

Kathy lived her life selflessly. Her life’s work centered around a career of helping people; both professionally and privately she was a caregiver. At too young of an age Kathy was diagnosed with breast cancer, but her resilience to see her sons become men gave her the strength to fight through the struggles of her disease. Though she was dealt a hard hand with her illness, she was empowered to help countless others through similar struggles. She taught all of us how to be not only strong, but also gentle and kind.

She is survived by her husband Robert, and sons Adam, Phillip, and Russell and his wife Jessica. She is also survived by her father Paul, brothers Michael and Paul Jr. and his wife Mel.

In addition to her mother Pat, she was preceded by her brother Bill.

The memorial service will be on Tuesday, May 30th at 4:00 PM at The Wesleyan Church, 915 N 5th St, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the charity or organization of your choice.
