Janice Fay Rogers, 83 of East Stroudsburg, PA died on Jan. 11, 2022. She was born on Sep, 9, 1938 in Phillipsburg, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth Dugan and Mae Altonen. Janice graduated from Phillipsburg High School and later in life studied chemistry at the Community College of Brazos County, Tx.
She is survived by the love of her life and husband of 55 years, Audley; her son Stephen Lynn III; her daughters: Kim Capobianco, Heather Sevek, and Heidi Bauman; her grandchildren Frank Nicholas Capobianco III, Isabella Bauman, Phinehas Bauman, Elijah Sevek, Hannah Bauman, Abigail Bauman; her sister Bonnie Regemann, her brother Daniel Dugan; and her son-in-laws Greg Sevek and Luke Bauman.
Janice worked as a realtor for over 10 years and as administrative assistant for 30 years, retiring in 2001 from Hoffman La Roche Pharmaceuticals. The things she enjoyed the most were: sewing, shopping, traveling, art, dining out, socializing with friends, and spending time with her grand children. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on Oct. 2, 1972. For more then 50 years she shared the bible's hope of paradise with her neighbors. She loved to tell of her experiences attending international conventions of Jehovah's Witnesses in Prauge, Ukraine, Montreal, and New York; visiting Bethel branches in the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, and UK and the fact that the first congregation bookstudy in Belvidere, NJ was held in her house. Her biggest accomplishment that she was thankful for was being a member of the Great Crowd of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
