Hermance Eva Evertz

Born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island on December 15, 1925, she was a daughter to the late Remi and Cora Bouvier. Hermance was a graduate of Newton High School, in Newton, NJ, class of 1943.

Hermance was a member of the First Baptist Church, in East Stroudsburg. She enjoyed singing in the choir at the church and volunteering at Pocono Medical Center, in East Stroudsburg.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her loving husband of 46 years Robert Evertz who passed away in 1990.

Surviving is a son: Earl Evertz and his wife Mary, of Pen Argyl; a daughter: Cheryl Weaver and her husband Douglas, of Hackettstown, NJ; two grandchildren: Brian Weaver and his wife Jennifer, of Hackettstown, NJ and Gregory Weaver and his wife Aime, of Southwest Ranches, FL; eight great grandchildren: Rebekah, Hannah, Victoria, Derek, Nathan, Grace, Matthew, and Sarah Weaver ; a brother Ferd Bouvier, of Newton, NJ.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday March 4, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church, 160 North Courtland St. East Stroudsburg, with Pastor Rev. David Cornell officiating. Interment will be private at Prospect Cemetery, in East Stroudsburg.

A public visitation will be held on Tuesday March 4, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service, at the First Baptist Church in East Stroudsburg.
