Gladys E. Peters

She was born in Rahway, NJ on June 5, 1925, a daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah (Felmly) Stevens.

Gladys was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Springfield, NJ for 57 years. She was the church treasurer for 12 years. She also volunteered for A.A.R.P as a treasurer and as the community event planner for 10 years. Gladys worked many years as a purchasing agent for P.H. Warner in NJ.

Surviving is her two loving daughters: Karen Peters of East Stroudsburg and Susan Joyce of Florida. She also leaves behind her extended family the “DeCiccos”.

Family and friends are asked to gather for a memorial service at the First Presbyterian Church, 37 Church Mall, Springfield, NJ 07081 on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at 1:00 P.M.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 37 Church Mall, Springfield, NJ 07081.
