Geraldine Mae Gower

Born January 20, 1933 in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Perma (Miller) Weiss.

Gerry graduated from Slatington Area High School in Lehigh County. She then met and married the love of her life, Clem. She worked as a dental receptionist for Dr. Viechnicki in East Stroudsburg until her retirement. She enjoyed needle point, sewing, and many crafts. Gerry was a member of the East Stroudsburg Presbyterian Church. She was always a good wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Those left to cherish her memory in addition to her husband are son; Edward and his wife Linda of Mount Joy: grandson; Nathan and his wife Sarah of Statesville, North Carolina: granddaughter; Alyssa and her life partner Sean Dunleavy of Allentown: great-granddaughter (daughter of Nathan and Sarah); Olivia Jo: sisters; June Daniels, Madeline Balliet and Catherine Shellhamer.

In addition to her parents, she has been predeceased by siblings; Warren (Dale) Weiss and Fern Schlegel.

A celebration of life service will be held at East Stroudsburg Presbyterian Church, 55 Smith St., East Stroudsburg, PA 18301 on Sunday August 22, 2021 at 1:30 PM. A brief luncheon will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in honor of Gerry to the East Stroudsburg Presbyterian Church, 55 Smith St., East Stroudsburg, PA 18301.
