W.P. “Pat” Dorsey, age 66, of Lookout Mountain, passed away at his home Sunday, March 11, 2012. He was born December 6, 1944 in Chattanooga, the son of the late T. Worth and Frances Dorsey. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Jim and Terry Dorsey. He graduated from Notre Dame High School. Pat retired in 2010 after 45 years in electrical and industrial sales. He was an avid golfer all his life. Pat was a longtime member of Creek’s Bend and Lookout Mountain Golf Clubs.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sherma Brown Dorsey; children Sean (Melissa) Dorsey, Elizabeth Dorsey Williams; three grandchildren Savannah, Miller and Caroline Williams all of Chattanooga; brother George (Julie) Dorsey of Farragut, TN and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Our Lady of the Mount Catholic Church in Lookout Mountain with the Reverend Richard Wise officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church from 9-10 Tuesday morning.
