Thomas Edgar Scoggins, 74 of East Ridge passed away Friday, October 11, 2019. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in Vietnam and had been employed as an x-ray welder for Daniels Construction Company. Mr. Scoggins attended Frawley Road Baptist Church and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #698 F&AM.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Franklin and Eddie Lou Steedley Scoggins.
Survivors include his companion, Patricia Santora; son, Thomas Lee Scoggins; step-children, Brian Santora, Angela Santora, John Santora and Michelle (Jonathan) Barlow; four grandchildren and was a proud great-grandfather of six.
Funeral services will be held at 12 PM Tuesday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road. Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
