Teresa "Terrie" A Smith

Teresa "Terrie" Ann Smith was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world on Friday, April 1, 2022. She was surrounded by her family: husband (Dallas), sisters (Joan Harris and Connie Seals), brother (Robert Dempsey), and children (Mandy & Brian McWeeney / Cody & Maria Smith).

She was born to James Earl and Barbara Ann Dempsey on July 4, 1955. She always said she came out with a "BANG".

After graduating Rossville High School, she married Dallas F. Smith, Jr and had two children: Mandy and Cody.

Terrie loved spending time with her grandchildren more than anything. Colton, Jensen, Ezekiel and Wesley brought her so much joy.

A Celebration of Terrie’s Life will be held in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Tuesday April 5, 2022 at 5:00 pm with Pastor Keith Jones officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2:00 pm. She will be laid to rest graveside on Thursday April 7, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Smith’s Run Cemetery, Harrisville, WV.

Arrangements for Tennessee are under the care of Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist East Chapel, 404 South Moore Rd. East Ridge, TN 37412 and local arrangements for West Virginia are under the care of McCullough Raiguel Funeral Home, 1200 E. Main Street, Harrisville, WV. 26362.
