Talmer Lee Bailey, 93, of Chattanooga passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2019. He attended First Baptist Church in Chattanooga. Mr. Bailey was a graduate of Georgia Tech and was retired as an engineer from Combustion Engineering. T.L. was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in WWII. He was a member of the Downtown Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife, Fay Bailey.
The family will receive friends from 2-7 PM Friday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road and from 2-3 PM Saturday at Julian Peoples Funeral Home 2627 Old Chattanooga Road in Rocky Face, GA.
The funeral service will be held at 3 PM Saturday in the Chapel of Julian Peoples Funeral Home with Dr. Thomas Quisenberry officiating. Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens in Dalton, GA.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Chattanooga Downtown Lions Club at 3400 Jerome Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37407.
