Doesn't seem like its been a year..but I know it has by the sadness I feel & I know everyone else feels too. Miss you Shane.

Today is the one year anniversary of our loss.  We all miss Shane so much.  He was a special part of our lives and we will always have sweet memories of him.

To my wonderful son, I love you with all my heart, even though a piece of it is missing now, I know God had his reason for taking you from me, even if I don't understand why, you were my pride and joy and I wish I had told you more often, I was very proud of you son.  He was a man who loved, he was a man who cried, but most of all he was a man that brought happiness and quality into all of our lives.
  
 He will always be missed but will never be apart, because everyone who knew him will always have a piece of him in their heart.

 To have to read things like what I am writing makes me want to cry, but I won't because this is not a good bye.

 He is gone now but it is to a better place, I hope I can say hello again to his face. Till then I will think of him every day and every night. 

 When I look at the stars I will see, that the brightest one is him looking back at me.

Only new shane from game we all played on our phone. From what little contact I had with him I was able to tell he was a caring, hard working, straight up guy. I would like to say i had the pleasure of meeting shane s personality on a game he played on bis phone we had talked back and forth since december we talk music kids and motocycles... his personality was kind and genuine ..... we will all miss u shane and i never met u face too face but my thoughts are with ur family.... thank u for the pleasure to know such a great guy..

I met Shane for the first time last April while visiting my son and his family. Shane struck me as a kind, loving and very outgoing family man. He will be sadly missed by all who had the priviledge of sharing a part of life with him. My deepest condolences to Lisa and his family.

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why Shane left this earth so soon, or why he left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that he died, but that he lived.
