Ruth Holt Davis, formerly of Ringgold, GA and Chattanooga, TN passed away at her residence in Honea Path, SC on Sunday, January 8, 2017. Ruth was born to the late James (Jack) and Lilla Wilson Holt on February 29, 1928. She was preceded in death also by her husband, Robert Wesley Davis; a son, Robert Davis, Jr; two brothers, Jack Holt, Jr. and Buddy Holt and a sister, Dorothy Holt. She is survived by a son, Charles E. (Tina) Davis of Lookout Mountain; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Chattanooga Funeral Home East, located at 404 S Moore Rd, East Ridge, TN 37412 Thursday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 P.M. A graveside service will immediately follow at 2:30 P.M. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery located at 1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404.
