Ruth was born and raised in Dayton, TN. She later moved to East Ridge where she was co-owner of Joe Chambers Music Store. She was also a member of American Legion Post 95 Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband, Joe Chambers; daughter, Phyllis Boghossian; and grandchildren, Sevan and Aleen Boghossian.
She was preceded in death by her parents, A.C. and Tennie Robinson; and her siblings.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Wednesday, July 15th at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be at 1 PM on Thursday, July 16th at the funeral home with Rev. Bill Cross officiating.
Entombment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens South, Rossville, GA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416. The family would like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga for their love and care.
