Ronald H. Huling, 86, of Rossville, GA passed away Friday, October 27, 2023. He was of the Baptist faith. Ron served his country in the United States Air Force and retired after 21 years of service. He achieved the rank of E6 Tech Sergeant. He was a combat veteran having served during the Vietnam War. After his military service he went on to work with the Brock Candy Company where he retired in 1999.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Delores, son, SMSGT Scott T. Huling, parents, Rev. Paul and Louise Huling, and a brother, Wayne Huling.
Survivors include one son, Deron (Beth) Huling; one daughter, Rhonda (Barry) Adams; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Huling, sisters, Sue Gaither and Sandra Reeves, several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Ron's Life will be held in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Thursday November 2, 2023 at 12:00 pm with Pastor Chris Gaither officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:30 am until service time. He will be laid to rest with his beloved wife, Delores in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
