Mr. Bowling was a member of Scenic City Volks Folks, and attended Grace Works Church. He was preceded in death by grandparents Hugh and Barbara Hentz.
Survivors include his wife Jennifer Shackleford Bowling, son Christopher Bowling, daughter Madilynn Bowling, parents Robert Charles “Bobby” Sr. and Mary H. “Jo” Bowling, sister Ashley (Bryan) Bowling Tate, nephews Jacob Tate grandparents Charlene Bowling, Bob and Wanda Bowling, great grandmother Earnestine Thomas, aunts Kathy Smith and Barbara (Wes) Bowden, uncle Hugh (Gayle) Hentz sister-in-law Jamie ( Howie) Connell, , Dillian Connell, and Eli Connell, niece Lainey Webb, father-in-law Jim Shackleford and mother-in-law Debbie Johnson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday March 19, 2011at 12:00 noon in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Newman officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-8 on Friday
