Randy Van Hooser, 61, of Chattanooga, died Monday, November 8, 2021, in Hospice care. Born in Chattanooga on November 15, 1959, he was the son of the late Haskell E. Van Hooser and Floye S. Van Hooser. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Van Hooser Adams and great nephew, Ronin Adams.
He graduated from Lakeview High School in 1977 where he was an all star athlete. Randy was the owner and CEO of All American Limousine Service & Taxi Company. He was an avid Tennessee Vols fan. He enjoyed traveling on his bus and going on cruises. He was a member at Silverdale Baptist Church where he served by going on mission trips.
He is survived by a daughter; sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Robert Powell of Whitwell; brother-in-law Bob Adams of Chattanooga; nieces, Rachel Jonas, Jennifer Miller, Meagan Powell and Casey Layne; nephews, Jeff Adams and Matt Adams; and several great nieces and nephews.
The family will celebrate Randy’s life on Monday, November 15th, which would have been his 62nd birthday, at Chattanooga Funeral Home East Chapel. Visitation will be at 11:00 am and a service at 12:00 pm, with Pastor Tony Walliser of Silverdale Baptist officiating and remarks by lifelong friend, Vernon Lee. Interment will follow at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will include Matt Adams, Jeff Adams, Robert Powell, Bob Adams, David Jonas and Justin Layne.
