Maryn made the world a more beautiful place. Firstly with her talents as an interior designer and makeup consultant, but more importantly with her compassion and generosity. If you needed a home, a coat, hug, she was there for you. If animal shelters were overrun, she fostered puppies and worked adoption events. But, her favorite cause was Normal Park Museum Magnet School. She ran countless fundraisers, renovation projects, and festivals—and still took the time to notice that teachers in the drop-off line needed umbrellas, and provided them. She took the same loving care of her family, husband Patrick and daughters Emma and Skye. Maryn grew up in Akron, Ohio; graduated from the University of Cinncinatti; married in Houston, Texas; and raised a beautiful family in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She is so loved and missed.
Friends and family are invited to a Funeral Service for Maryn Buckley on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Mount Catholic Church on Lookout Mountain, 1227 Scenic Hwy, Lookout Mountain, GA 30750 with Father Mark Thomas officiating. Reception following the service from 11:30 to 2pm at our home, 1014 Westwood Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37405.
