Mary Lee Sims

Mary Lee Richards Sims, 85, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, February 3, 2012 at her home. She was a 1945 graduate of Central High School and attended McKenzie Business School. She worked at Lookout Beauty Supply and later as an Administrative Assistant at First-Centenary United Methodist Church where she was a member. She retired June, 1988.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hobart Bernard Sims and her daughter, Peggy Lynn Sims Sapp.

Survivors include son, Larry Bernard Sims (Kathy), grandsons Jason Sims (Heather) and Justin Sims (Mandi), and great-granddaughter Harper Kate Sims. Cousins James Bishop, Ivey Bishop and Barbara Bishop, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 6th at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel at Chattanooga Funeral Home East with Dr. David Harr officiating. Interment will follow at National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
