Lorraine Womack, age 94, of East Ridge, TN went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 27, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Imogene Brandon Howard and Wyatt Larrimore. A lifelong resident of Chattanooga and a graduate of Central High School she was crowned Miss Chattanooga in 1942. She was a former member of East Ridge Church of God and currently a member of Spring Creek Road Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L.M. Womack.
Survivors include two sons, Douglas (Rebecca) Womack and Dr. Mark (Cindy) Womack, both of Ooltewah, TN; grandchildren, Candace, Karen, Jessica and Joshua.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A family graveside service will be held on Monday at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3-6 PM Saturday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.
