Larry was born in Cleveland, TN to the late, Alvin and Edith Kimsey. He was a graduate of MTSU and worked as a computer programmer for TVA. He retired after 22 years of service. He was a member of The Crossings. He enjoyed collecting western memorabilia.
He was preceded in death by his aforementioned parents.
Left behind to cherish his life are his wife of 26 years, JoAnn Kimsey, children, Kristie (Steven) Perry, Ernie Jones, Nate (Cynthia) Jones, and Danielle (Mike) Daverson, grandchildren, Joseph and Will Perry, Abigail and Ernie Jones, Nathan, Louis, and Will Jones, and Peyton and Shaw Daverson, and many dear friends.
A Celebration of Larry’s Life will be held privately graveside in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Pastor Terry Harris officiating. The family will receive friends at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Sunday November 15, 2020 from 12 – 2pm.
We respectfully request that all current mandates set forth by the CDC and the Hamilton County Health Department be adhered to. This includes “social distancing” and wearing masks at all times while on the premises.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be made in Larry’s memory to Neighborhood Helpers Volunteer Ministry (NHVM) PO Box 771, Soddy Daisy, TN 37384.
