Kenneth Ray Smith

He was born on July 2, in Flat Rock, AL, to the late Eulice LV and Louella Smith. He is also preceded in death by his son, Charles Dewayne Smith; and two brothers, James and Marvin Smith.

Ken is survived by his wife, Phyllis Smith; his sons, Ray LeBron (Yolanda) Sims, Christopher Lee (Julia) Humphries; his grandchildren, Christopher Mithcell Sims, Matthew LeBron (Jessica) Sims, Christopher Charles Humphries, and Kristen Danielle (Zachary) Terrell; his great-grandchildren, Madeline, Riley, Eisley, and Ella; his siblings, Jerry Smith and Brenda (Mark) Thompson; and several nieces and nephews.

Crazy Ken will be remembered in the community for his Crazy Ken’s Snow Cones and vegetable truck.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Chattanooga Funeral Home-East Chapel with Rev. Richard Kennett officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 pm to 8 PM on Wednesday, April 6, at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Thursday, April 7. He will be laid to rest in Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson, TN.
