Johnnie’s greatest comfort came from her faith. She was a life-long member of Woodland Park Baptist Church. Her love of God and Bible gave her strength and grace throughout her life. Gospel music and videos were her favorite which she often played and could often be found singing. Her greatest joy came from having her family in her home. She loved to cook for her family and especially for her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Emory Keith; parents, John and Alberta Woodlee; sisters, Edna Coffee and Fana Stanfield; and brothers, J. C. Woodlee and Glen Woodlee.
Surviving are her daughter, Janice Keith; son, Steve (Sherry) Keith; granddaughter, Kellie Keith; grandson, Steven Keith; sister-in-law, Nancy (Pete) Smith; and several nieces and nephews, all of Chattanooga.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 PM on Monday and 12 PM to 1 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral Service will be at 1 PM on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at the funeral home with Rev. Bruce Daugherty and Dr. Angela Walltrip officiating.
Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Hospice of Chattanooga and to caregivers, Sherry Keith and Barbara Smith of Hospice of Chattanooga, for the care and love shown to Johnnie.
