James Harvey "Jim" Stout

James Harvey "Jim" Stout, age 62 of East Ridge died Thursday, March 22, 2012. He was born January 9, 1950 in Nashville the son of the late James Thomas and Eva Ruth Stout. He was also preceded in death by two sisters Doris Corbin and Jo Ann Taylor.

Mr. Stout was an avid golfer. He worked for 20 years at Tennessee Pride, and for 10 years at Stratton Salad. He also worked for Herb Adcox Chevrolet and was currently employed by Kia of Chattanooga.

Survivors include his wife Marie Moore Stout; two daughters Michelle (Greg) Rogers and Melanie Lynn (J.R.) Grant all of Rossville; two grandchildren Dylan Gregory Rogers and Emily Nichole Rogers both of Rossville; three Goddaughters Karen Boman, Chrissie Saffles and Cassie Morgan; one Godson Timmy Joe Smith; sister Linda Stout Lee of East Ridge; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 11:30 am Monday March 26, 2012 in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Pauline Pezzino officiating. Entombment will follow in the Lomenick Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 2-6.
