OBITUARY
James Arnold Petty
September 1, 1943 – September 8, 2014
James Arnold Petty, 71, a native of Chattanooga passed away Monday, September 8, 2014 in a local hospital. He was retired from Chattanooga Coke and Chemical and worked for Choo Choo Customs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Petty and Cecille Songer Petty.
Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Petty of Hixson, TN and Teresa White of Crossville, TN; five grandchildren, James Wright, David Wright, Jr., Timothy White, Melanie White and Matthew White; six great-grandchildren; five brothers, Robert Petty, Billy Petty, Bobby Petty, Johnny Petty and Jackie Petty; two sisters, Faye Higdon and Donna Worley; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Henry officiating. Burial will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
