Jackie Jensen

Jackie Jensen, 74 of Chattanooga, formerly of Las Vegas, NV., passed away on April 17, 2019. Her sense of humor, zest for life, rebel heart, strength, generosity and beauty will be deeply missed. She was one of a kind. We hope she is at peace with her loved ones and we hope that heaven has a Vegas like casino where she can play poker machines and keno to her hearts content.

Jackie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 20 plus years, Larry Jensen, her parents, Bill and Lillian Barlew, her brother, Bill Barlew, and her sisters, Dorothy Meece, Mary Outlaw, and Betsy Prezgay.

Left behind to cherish Jackie’s memory are her son and his wife, Scott and Jennifer Garrison, grandchildren, Lauren, Stephanie, and Jackson Garrison, and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Jackie’s Life will be held in the chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Tuesday April 23, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. The family will receive friends starting at 3:00 p.m.

The family wishes to thank her niece, Sandra Walterhouse for the special care that she gave Jackie during her time back here in Chattanooga.
