Helen Josephine Vaughn, 83, of East Ridge, TN passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016. She was a Charter Member of Greens Lake Road Church of Christ and a longtime member of the American Business Women’s Association, Scenicland Chapter. She was retired as Business Manager from McKenzie Business College.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Lela Vaughn; three brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Janice Vaughn of East Ridge and Juanita Vaughn of Salem, Oregon; nephew and caregiver, Chris Hancock; nephews, Lee Hancock and K. C. Combes; great-nephew, Jacob Grant; a special and close cousin, Alma Vance.
Funeral services will be held at 12 PM Friday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, TN with Minister Jim Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
