Frances Nell McBryar

Frances "Nell" Bowers McBryar went home to be with the Lord on April 28, 2023. She worked most of her life as a dental assistant. She was a former longtime resident of Lookout Valley and recently resided at Applebrook. She was a member of Ridgedale Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Melvin Bowers and I.J. “Bud” McBryar, daughter, Frankie (Larry) Ott, Brother, W.E. Blackburn, sisters Jewel Dean Ray and Mary Phelps, and two stepdaughters.

Survivors include her Daughter, Brenda (Dan) Kilgore, Stepson, Buddy (Patti) McBryar, Grandchildren, Jeff (Becky) Ott, Tony (Kelly) Ott, Shelley (Corey) Lee, Lori (Matthew) Otting, and Jo Brotton

Great-Grands, Katie, Molly, Matthew, Ellis, Abby, Ava, Mallory Kate, and Hannah

Great-Great-Grand, Jamie Kate, and several nieces, nephews and friends.

A Celebration of Nell’s Life will be held graveside on Wednesday May 3, 2023 at 12:30 pm at Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
