She was a member of Wauhatchie United Methodist Church. She was a house wife for 63 years. Evelyn lived at Alexian Retirement Center and Dominion Senior Living for the passed 10 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Billie (Bill) Cummings Richie; son Robert (Bobby) Richie; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Long; sisters Jean Wilcox, Julie Keef, two brothers Charles Long and H.L. Long.
Survivors include daughter and caregiver, Carolyn Richie, of Chattanooga, TN, Diane Banniza, of Brentwood, TN, sister, Gail Cannady of South Carolina, three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday August 21, 2019 at Wauhatchie United Methodist Church from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM with the Funeral Service following at 11:00 AM, Officiating Rev. Tommy Messer. Interment will be at Lakewood Memorial Gardens, West.
