Don was a member of Lookout Valley Baptist Church and the Golden Circle Sunday school class. He was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge #673, the Eastern Star Chapter #483, and the Alhambra Shrine Temple.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Della Vaughn; 3 brothers, Arnold, J.B. and Billy Vaughn; one sister, Wanda Hartley.
Don is survived by his wife of 63 years, Martha L. Vaughn, three sons, Ronald, Eddie (Sue Anne), and Steve (Ruby) Vaughn; 3 grandchildren, Travis Mitchell, Brittany Nicole, and Lauren Marie Vaughn, and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Donald's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 12, 2018 graveside at Lakewood Memory Gardens West. The family will receive friends at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Sunday, March 11, 2018 evening from 4-8 p.m.
