Donald S. Eldridge

Donald was born on May 12, 1935, to the late John H. and Beulah M. Eldridge. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jeanette Eldridge; his son, Donald S. Eldridge, Jr.

Donald was a longtime member of New Liberty Baptist Church in Ringgold. He was a boilermaker in the Local 454 for many years.

Donald is survived by his wife, Gladys Eldridge; daughters, Kathy (George) Maynor and Christina (Greg) Kittle; stepchildren, Deborah (Thomas) Nite, Theresa (Steven) Cato, and Brian Ailey; siblings, Steve Eldridge, Clayton Eldridge, and Betty Ross; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Chattanooga Funeral Home - East Chapel with Rev. Dr. Thomas Nite officiating. A visitation will be held from 4-7 PM on Monday, July 25, 2022, and one hour prior to services on Tuesday, July 26, at the funeral home. A burial will follow at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park in Rossville, GA.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
